Tainan University of Technology, located in Yongkang City, Tainan, has upheld the spirit of its motto "Continuous Learning and Thinking" since its establishment in 1965. It is the only science and technology university in Taiwan that has an art college and the only university with a department dedicated to comics. The Design College of the university has been the recipient of the most awards in the "Taiwan New Generation Gold Point Rookie Design Competition" among all science and technology universities for 13 consecutive years. In 2022, it also earned the prestigious distinction of winning 7 "Reddot Design Awards" in the design competition held in Germany.
Moreover, this year, the university's culinary arts department achieved remarkable results in the 2023 Thailand TUCC Extreme Chef Challenge, winning 1 gold, 8 silver, 6 bronze, 2 commendations, and 2 "Best Overall" awards.
